What is the purpose of life, asked my mom

By Antti Haverinen May 7th, 2008

My mom used to ask me, what is the purpose of life, when I was a small child. I considered this question as a silly one then. After growing up I have admired her question. As an question it is a cornerstone for humans, but still people are constantly avoiding to find their own answer to it.

At the moment I have been asking this a thrilling question from me. I have some ideas what it might be, but I am not sure.

To explore it wholly, it may need some

  • analysing (an inspiration to find new paths)
  • observing (keeping eyes open for new things)
  • imitation (bounding to other thinkers and their findings)

For instance, I started out my career as an journalist, then extended to IT (Web consultancy). Now I seem to be in the middle of conjunction going to a direction, which is a natural consequence of my choices. I have always wanted to work at international level combining IT/Web with my ambition to create something remarkable.
