Since 1994 I have been gaining a wide range communicational and technological knowledge on the Internet and Print media in various roles.

I consider Web Communications as one art form of its own. Dealing with it requires skills and passion.

Summary

I have produced, developed and maintained various communication solutions for both the business and the public sector. Thus, I am used to lead, develop and implement different online and off solutions.

  • Excellent practical drafting, visualizing and editing (content management) skills (due to several years of work experience in journalism and marketing).
  • Solid knowledge of Internet technologies (Open Source in LAMP-environment – e.g. WordPress, Drupal and Joomla). Very good practical skills implementing & developing and maintaining various technical platforms using (x)HTML, CSS and PHP. A technical problem-solver and a troubleshooter. Redesigning and defining different sizes of new Web services and solutions for NGOs, the public sector and business.
  • Strong understanding of Web 2.0 communications approaches (Google Adword, Facebook, Twitter and Youtube-integrations).
  • Familiar with several tools e.g. Adobe products CS3 (Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator & Indesign), Windows XP and Vista, Office-products, Open Office, Mac OS X. A Mac user.
  • Strong knowledge of Web Metrics (Google Analytics / addthis.com) and SEO & SEA (search engine optimization & advertising).
  • Extensive experience in coordinating. Ability to handle several complex projects simultaneously. Can efficiently transform briefs and visions into practical concepts and work packages.
  • Advanced knowledge of communications theories and practice and capacity to create strategic eCommunications campaigns to support objectives.
  • An excellent social skills and strong work ethic. A positive, communicative and motivating person (strong social skills) with aptitude for liaison roles and serving as a contact point. Inspiring trainer for users users & clients in either  in classrooms or remotely via VoiP (e.g. Skype).
